SEC Players Selected in 2016 NFL Draft

Saturday Down South‘s Chris Wright has composed a list of SEC players who were selected by in the NFL draft. Alabama had 7 and Tennessee zero. See what others teams contributed to the draft.

For the 10th consecutive year, the SEC produced more NFL draft picks than any conference in America.

Georgia linebacker Leonard Floyd was the first SEC player taken in the 2016 NFL draft. Seven more followed in the first round, and dozens more after that.

The SEC finished with 51 draft picks. It also led the nation with 54 last year, which trailed only its record 63 set in 2013.

Every SEC team except Tennessee contributed to the tally.
