In the never-ending war to watch SEC football in luxury, Mississippi State is taking style to a new level in 2016. Dan Matthews at GridIronNow gives us a few details.
Mississippi State is adding cabanas to Davis Wade Stadium this season. The school announced Friday that it would be selling “Scoreboard Club Terrace Cabanas.”
The cabanas – which include two high-top outside tables, a seating area inside the tent and a TV – are located on the west terrace/patio deck of the Scoreboard Club. Buying a cabana will give fans access to the Scoreboard Club.
You’re going to dig deep if you want one: Each cabana costs $18,000 per season and includes 12 tickets per game.
Mississippi State is requiring full payment by September 1. More information can be found here.
The Jacksonville Jaguars were the first football organization to add cabanas to their stadium game-day experience. The Jags added them in 2014 and won the Stadium Business Award for best premium seat in 2015.
